Tour Description

Rajasthan is a land where every city tells a different story - and this 6 days Rajasthan tour package is designed to let you experience three of its most magnificent chapters. From the rose-flushed palaces of Jaipur to the sun-bleached blue lanes of Jodhpur and the shimmering lake city of Udaipur, this carefully crafted 5-night 6-day itinerary captures the very soul of India's most regal state.

This tour takes you through three distinct worlds in one seamless journey. In Jaipur, you walk the corridors of Amber Fort, gaze at the iconic honeycomb facade of Hawa Mahal, and wander through the bustling bazaars of the old walled city. In Jodhpur, you stand beneath the towering walls of Mehrangarh Fort - one of India's most dramatic hilltop citadels - and lose yourself in the cobalt-blue lanes of Brahmapuri. The journey continues via the ancient Jain temples of Ranakpur, arriving in Udaipur - a city of lakes, white-marble palaces, and rooftop restaurants that look out over the serene waters of Lake Pichola.

Whether you are a first-time visitor to Rajasthan or returning to discover corners you missed, the Jaipur–Jodhpur–Udaipur circuit is one of India's most rewarding travel routes. This package is ideal for couples seeking a romantic getaway, families looking for a culturally rich holiday, honeymooners, and international travellers who want to experience the authentic grandeur of Rajasthan in a well-paced, comfortable format.

All transfers are handled by a private, air-conditioned cab with an experienced Rajasthan driver who knows the routes, the stories, and the best stops along the way. Accommodation is arranged at handpicked hotels that reflect the heritage and warmth of each city. Every detail has been thoughtfully planned - so that all you need to focus on is the experience.

Jaipur is well connected to most major Indian cities and to several international destinations. By air, Jaipur International Airport (code: JAI) receives direct flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and several Gulf cities. By train, Jaipur Railway Station is connected to Delhi (approximately 4.5 to 5 hours by express trains such as the Shatabdi or Vande Bharat), Mumbai, and other major cities. By road, Jaipur is 280 km from Delhi — approximately 5 hours by car on the Delhi–Jaipur Expressway. Trip Plan India can arrange an airport or railway station pickup on arrival as part of your package.

The ideal time for this tour is October to March, when the weather across Rajasthan is cool, pleasant, and comfortable for sightseeing. Daytime temperatures range from 12°C to 28°C during this period, with clear blue skies and dry conditions. November is particularly special, as it coincides with the Pushkar Camel Fair (nearby) and Diwali celebrations in Jaipur. December and January are the most popular months for international travellers. The summer months (April to June) see temperatures exceeding 40°C across Rajasthan and are not recommended unless you are specifically acclimatised to desert heat. July to September (monsoon) brings occasional heavy rains, particularly in Udaipur.

Yes, this tour is very well suited for families. Jaipur, Jodhpur, and Udaipur are all family-friendly destinations with smooth road connectivity, good medical facilities, and a wide range of accommodation options. Children especially enjoy the elephant stables and puppet shows at Amber Fort, the cannon displays and museum at Mehrangarh Fort, and camel or horse rides available at various points. The Ranakpur temples on Day 4 involve a moderate amount of walking, but the path is even and accessible. We recommend comfortable walking shoes for children and early morning starts to make the most of the cooler parts of the day.

This tour is designed to be comfortable and manageable for senior travellers with reasonable mobility. All transfers are in private, air-conditioned vehicles so there is no standing in queues or crowded transport. Amber Fort in Jaipur offers jeep rides from the base to the fort entrance, reducing the uphill walk. Mehrangarh Fort has an elevator. Udaipur's City Palace has ramps and accessible pathways. We recommend letting us know at the time of booking if any specific mobility assistance is required so we can tailor the itinerary accordingly and arrange ground-floor hotel rooms where possible.

Absolutely. Trip Plan India specialises in customised Rajasthan tour packages and this 6-day itinerary is a popular starting framework that can be extended in multiple directions. A common extension is to add Pushkar (1 night, between Jaipur and Jodhpur) for the famous Brahma Temple and lake ghats. Jaisalmer (the Golden City, 285 km from Jodhpur) can be added for 2 nights, giving you the experience of desert camp stay and camel safari on the Sam Sand Dunes. Mount Abu, Rajasthan's only hill station, is 160 km from Udaipur and makes a peaceful add-on at the end of the tour. Please contact us with your travel dates and interests and we will design a customised itinerary and quote within 24 hours.
