Once you reach Samode Haveli, start sightseeing this heritage haveli.

Samode Palace –
The heritage palace was built by the noblemen of the court of the royal family near the Samode village, set on the outskirts of the Shekhawat. It is built of suing sandstone at the foot of the Aravalli ranges. The interior of the palaces is composed of the ancient architectural styles of Rajasthan: marble floors, mosaic walls, and intricately ornamented pillars. Samode fort was the former residence of the Maharaja.

Samode Haveli –
The Haveli was built facing north and has an elegantly painted dining room and an airy passage. An elephant ramp is specially constructed at the entrance of the haveli which was laid in 1940 on the marriage ceremony of a royal family member. It was built for the top ministry in the royal court. The ornate mansion was used by the ladies to observe the activities taken on the road.

Samode bagh –
It was built more than 400 years ago; the garden features a design inspired by the geometric style of the Mughal gardens. The Samode Bagh is the most attractive part of this tour which boasts exotic floral species.

Places to visit near Samode –
Shekhawati is a beautiful region comprising Jhunjhunu, Sikar, and Churu which is home to fascinating havelis dating back to the bygone era. It owns the largest concentration of frescos in the world which has also been titled the “Open Art Gallery of Rajasthan”.

Best time to visit Samode –
Like most other places in north India, Samode has an extreme climate. The summer can be exceptionally very hot with the mercury shooting up to 45 degrees Celsius, whereas winters are chilly and the temperature can fall to 5 degrees Celsius. The best time to visit Samode is between October and March.
