Day 1: Arrive in Cochin & Drive to Periyar
On reaching Cochin Airport, you will be welcomed by the tour representative who will greet you to escort you for a road trip to Periyar. Actually named Thekkady, this place is well-known by the name of Periyar because of the presence of the famous Periyar National Park. This place is famous for being a shelter for Elephants, Bengal Tigers, Wild Boar, Sambar, Leopard, Wild Doc, Langur, Monkeys, etc.With an abundance of birds and plant species, Periyar gives a wonderful nature retreat to explorers. Check in to the hotel or lodge in Periyar to freshen up and unwind. Sleep overnight in Periyar.

Day 2: Travel Kumarakom by Road (110 kms)
In the morning, proceed for a boat cruise on the serene lake of Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. While cruising through the artificial lake or reservoir of Periyar, you can see the rich wildlife such as elephants, Asiatic Deer, Black Buck, and even tigers come to the shore of the lake.Afterward, return to the hotel for breakfast and then begin a guided walk around the Spice Village to see the various spices grown here. Later, leave for a drive to Kumarakom. Arrive in the fascinating countryside of low-lying palms and paddy fields in Kumarakom while visiting the tea estates. Kumarakom is a wonderful blackwater village set on the shorts of the Vembanad Lake, crisscrossed with meandering waterways and ancient cottages. Check in to the pre-booked resort in Kumarakom for a comfortable night stay.

Day 3: Alleppey Houseboat Cruise
The early morning of day 3 is leisure at Coconut Lagoon. You may take a cruise on the backwaters in traditional country canoes known as “Vanjis”, to see the agricultural activities of the locals. Visit the famous bird sanctuary. In the afternoon, board the traditional rice boat, Kettuvallam to begin a journey through the picturesque backwaters or small lakes relaxing in the tranquil surroundings of Kerala. Experience the local lifestyle and stay comfortable onboard overnight.

Day 4: Houseboat to Marari by road
Wake up fresh in the morning and enjoy breakfast on board. Continue sailing to Alleppey and disembark at Puthenangady Jetty. As you arrive, proceed directly to Mararikulam - the beautiful fishing villages dotted in the coastline of Kerala. This is a private, shallow beach fringed with enormous coconut palm trees. The remaining day is at leisure for your own activities. Stay overnight in the lodge.

Day 5: Leisure Day in Marari
On the 5th day, you can engage in some exciting activities of your choice. The day is leisure in Marari. Stay overnight in the hotel or lodge.

Day 6: Marari to Cochin by Road
The 6th-day will be taking you to Cochin which is famously known as the Queen of Arabian Sea. It is the oldest European settlement in India filled with backwaters and rich old-world charm. The city has been lured by many tourists who flock here in abundance. Once you arrive in Cochin, check in to the hotel for freshening up and relaxing.From time immemorial, Arabs, Chinese, British, Portuguese, and Dutch seafarers followed the sea route to Kochi and left their footprints on the town. Kochi is thus a splendid mosaic of these myriad influences. In the evening, take some time to explore Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, the Church of St. Francis, Chinese Fishing nets, etc.Stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 7: Cochin to Mumbai by Flight
