Samode Palace –
The heritage palace was built by the noblemen of the court of the royal family near the Samode village, set on the outskirts of the Shekhawat. It is built of suing sandstone at the foot of the Aravalli ranges. The interior of the palaces is composed of the ancient architectural styles of Rajasthan: marble floors, mosaic walls, and intricately ornamented pillars. Samode fort was the former residence of the Maharaja.
Samode Haveli –
The Haveli was built facing north and has an elegantly painted dining room and an airy passage. An elephant ramp is specially constructed at the entrance of the haveli which was laid in 1940 on the marriage ceremony of a royal family member. It was built for the top ministry in the royal court. The ornate mansion was used by the ladies to observe the activities taken on the road.
Samode bagh –
It was built more than 400 years ago; the garden features a design inspired by the geometric style of the Mughal gardens. The Samode Bagh is the most attractive part of this tour which boasts exotic floral species.
