1. Hall of Public Audience

Diwan-e-Aam or Hall of Public Audience is a large hall that stands on two rows of pillars. Each pillar is ornamented and is open on three sides. The Maharaja used to sit in the hall and listen to the queries of common men.

2. Sukh Mandir

Sukh Niwas or Sukh Mandir is a hall made with sandalwood and ivory. It is located right opposite to the Hall of Public Audience. There’s a small channel that runs through it and carries cold water. It is an ancient method of keeping the place cool.

3. Sheesh Mahal

Also known as the Mirror Palace, Sheesh Mahal is the most stunning part of the fort. The palace has been shown in various local movies. The walls and ceilings in this palace are well-carved and beautiful flowers and other paintings are made of glass.

4. Kesar Kyaari

Mughal Gardens in Amer Fort have a beauty that cannot be tallied by simple gardens that you can see around the country. The part is located on Maota Lake, in front of the fort. The garden is formed in a star shape.

5. Light Show

The light show takes place every evening and mainly focuses on the history of Jaipur as well as the fort. It shows ancient anecdotes of the place, sovereigns and others. 6. Amber Fort’s Tour Itinerary

No matter which mode of transportation you choose, you will enter the Amber Fort through the Sun Gate, Suraj Pol. One would initially enter within the main courtyard called Jaleb Chowk. The ticket office for entrance tickets and others will be in the courtyard. Some road routes will take you to Moon Gate, Chand Pol, located right opposite the Sun Gate. From the gate, you will find a stairway that will take you to the main palace. There’s a small stairway on the right which would lead you to the temple of Siladevi. Before visiting the temple head to the raised relief works.

The main stairway will take you to the Hall of Public Audience. You can find the apartments of kings and beyond that will find Ganesh Gate. You would enter the Hall of Victory, famous for the multi-mirrored ceilings, marble reliefs and others. In the fourth courtyard, you would find the queen’s apartments which includes the famous Mirror Palace.
